The mission with Bal Vikas Project is to create streamlined interventions through different media types for parents who are in the process of adoption and to "bring more awareness to the adoption process" in my home country of India. The research will take one through the process, making this film come to life through a variety of techniques, discoveries and the form of filmmaking. The end result is a film, book, website, and a campaign which will be featured in all surrounding Mumbai orphanages.

 It’s been about 4 months since Sarah-Sakshi came home and she’s doing extremely well and has grown so much. Her parents, brother Simon and Sister Sharon love her to pieces. As Maybritt describes “Sarah-Sakshi takes everyone by storm” ? Recently the five of them went on their first family vacation in southern Europe. Sarah-Sakshi enjoyed playing in the sand for the first time along with her siblings and they had an amazing time together. Last week Sarah-Sakshi was introduced to snow in Denmark, which she also had a great time with. It’s wonderful to see that they’ve all adjusted to their new life together and I can’t wait to see them all again. Photo's are taken by the family.               ( 3 / 2163 )
